Privacy Policy: dakuwon-rclone
Effective date: October 22, 2026
This policy explains how dakuwon-rclone (“the app”) handles information from Google accounts. The app is operated by Saiyan Corp (saiyancorp.io).
What the app is
dakuwon-rclone is a private file-transfer tool. It runs rclone, the open-source file sync program (rclone.org), on its operator's own computer to copy files between that computer and the operator's Google Drive. It is not offered to the public. It has no server, website service, or database of its own.
Google data the app accesses
When you authorize the app, Google asks you to grant one permission:
- Google Drive (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive): see, edit, create, and delete your Google Drive files.
With that permission the app can read file and folder names, sizes, dates, checksums and other file details, the contents of files it is told to copy, and your Drive storage quota.
How the app uses that data
The app uses Google Drive data only to carry out the transfers its operator starts:
- upload files from the computer to Google Drive;
- download files from Google Drive to the computer;
- list, move, rename, or delete files in Google Drive when instructed;
- compare checksums to confirm that files copied correctly;
- report storage used and storage free.
The app does not read, analyze, or use the contents of files for any other purpose. It does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. No person reads your Google Drive data through the app other than you.
Where data is stored
- Sign-in tokens. Google issues an access token and a refresh token when you authorize the app. They are stored only in a local rclone configuration file on the computer where you signed in. They are never sent to Saiyan Corp or to anyone else.
- Files. Copied files stay in your Google Drive and on your computer. The app may keep a local log of transfers, including file names, on that same computer.
- In transit. All communication between the app and Google uses encrypted HTTPS connections.
Sharing
The app does not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to any third party, except where required by law. Google processes your data under the Google Privacy Policy.
dakuwon-rclone's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Tokens stay on your computer until you remove the app's access or delete the rclone configuration. You can remove access at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections. Doing so immediately stops the app from reaching your Google Drive. Deleting the rclone configuration file and its logs removes everything the app stored locally. Files in your Google Drive stay under your control and are not deleted when you remove access.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
